Le savoir-faire
RASGA FORMS is a contemporary jewellery studio based in Paris.
The atelier is the core of the practice, where research, experimentation, and making converge. This is where forms are tested, adjusted, and refined through material exploration before being translated into finished pieces.
Work is undertaken at a deliberately small scale, allowing close control over production and a considered use of materials. Prioritizing local production supports reduced waste and a responsible approach to making.
Finishing is carried out by Renata Scheffer in collaboration with a master artisan, whose long-standing dedication to jewellery contributes to the transmission of essential savoir-faire.
The atelier functions as a space of continuity, grounding contemporary research in craftsmanship.
The creation Process
Ideas take shape through drawing, sculptural exploration, and 3D modeling to test volume, balance, and structural relationships throughout development.
Once defined, forms are translated into jewellery through casting and careful hand-finishing. Surfaces are refined through successive stages of sanding and polishing, preserving the integrity and tension of the original form.
Alongside its ongoing designs, the studio develops ONE OF A FORM, a series of unique pieces entirely made by hand. Each object is sculpted in wax, cast, and then finished through a fully artisanal process. Natural stones are introduced during development, actively shaping proportion and composition.
Produced as singular works, these pieces reflect a specific moment of material exploration, studio practice, and gesture.
